Can My Class Participate?
This is a class-by-class, middle school level scholarship for all Florida Middle School students for which all applicants must:

Strong candidates are middle school students with the intent to #elevate themselves by
- reading books at or above their grade level, after school
- elevating the lives of younger students by volunteering to help with reading and writing homework, online
- demonstrating positive character by encouraging their classmates to read books in order to win the pizza party prize

Also, if awarded, either your teacher or the student who read the most books, will receive information regarding further instructions for acceptance of the award and a subsequent online interview with Ms. Black Florida to review what you read and how your class was successful to finalize the process.

- Your name, email, and year in middle school
- Middle school name, city, and state
- Class Book List
- Record the book's title, author, who your favorite character was from the book, and one sentence explaining why you liked that character the most for each book (Note: There is no minimum number of books, so read as many as you'd like!). Combine it all on one page so your teacher can keep track of everyone's books.
- Class Photo
- Use a camera, phone, or other device to take a class photo with every student holding their favorite book before the end of the competition.
- It may be submitted as a JPG or PNG image file by a student with permission, a teacher, or a parent.
