Natural Wellness Solutions Okay. We’ve been stuck inside for weeks now and are maybe getting a bit jittery, not to mention lethargic. Our moods are no doubt following our bodies as they often do. Here’s a natural cure The Natural Cure: find a woodsy spot and reconnect with the earth. Lush trees and dappled sunlight are great for refreshing mind and spirit. You can walk, hike, bike or run. All are excellent ways to keep your mind positive and your body fit. Find a Path and Follow It Remove your ear buds and just listen. You’ll hear animals, the breeze and possibly a babbling brook. Let this very real setting re-calibrate your spirit. Sit on a big rock, close your eyes and just breathe. Be patient while your body adjusts to the earth again. Walk, Jog, Breathe Now that you’re totally relaxed it’s time to get your juices flowing. Jog along the path and listen to your breath. Feel your heart beating faster and the glow of sweat forming on your body. Be in the movement and the moment. Go back to that big rock and use it as exercise equipment. Step up and down in rapid succession. Put one foot on the rock and do some lunges. When you’re done reach up to the sky and try to grab it. Let your breath out slowly and smile. You’ve just cured your pandemic claustrophobia. Feel free to strut out of the woods. You’ve earned it. Comments are closed.
